Can Glidestor be fitted to existing racking?
Glidestor can be fitted to any existing racking. The existing racking may have to be reconfigured to have different beam heights for spacing. Open shelves and beams would need decking fitted to accept the Glidestor rails. Generally existing document storage pallet racking is strong enough as it was designed for archive box storage.

We do offer a one-stop shop and can design and install a new facility using the Glidestor and or a mix incorporating traditional document archive storage.

What is the best way to install Glidestor?
Larger installations need to be planned in phases. Existing racking needs to be offloaded and emptied. The racks then need to adapted to the correct heights to accept the Glidestor system. The GlideSTOR rails are installed to the decking and glides placed for clients to place boxes.

Where Do WE get the glidestor boxes from?
The size of the box will vary to the best fit for each beam size. Glidestor can advise on the size and quantity needed.
The boxes are sourced by the data centers providers, but Glidestor can provide them.

WHere is glidestor used?
Glidestor can be used in most archive box stores. Two tier storage platforms are ideal as it best used in heights of easy reach of operators less than 2200mm is typical. Higher is possible but a kick step may be needed. The operator must be able to push the front face of glides away to gain access to the 2nd or third row of boxes behind.
